Legacy the School of Sport Sciences is proud to offer a Texas Education Agency-designated Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program, giving students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while simultaneously completing college coursework, industry certifications, and an associate degree, at no cost to families. The P-TECH model combines rigorous academics with hands-on, career-connected learning designed to prepare students for both college and the workforce.
What makes Legacy different is our exclusive focus on the business of sport. Through partnerships with higher education and industry leaders, students gain real-world experiences that extend beyond the classroom, including internships, mentorships, job shadowing, guest speakers, and project-based learning.
Students may choose from specialized pathways such as:

By graduation, Legacy P-TECH students can earn up to 60 college credit hours, an associate degree, and valuable industry credentials while building the professional skills employers seek. Legacy the School of Sport Sciences proudly offers OnRamps, a nationally recognized dual enrollment program developed by The University of Texas at Austin. OnRamps provides students with the opportunity to experience the rigor of college-level coursework while still in high school, allowing them to earn both high school and transferable college credit.
Designed to bridge the gap between high school and higher education, OnRamps courses challenge students to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop the academic skills necessary for success in college and beyond. Students learn from highly qualified Legacy teachers who receive specialized training and support from The University of Texas at Austin, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Through OnRamps, students gain early exposure to college expectations while building a strong academic transcript. Courses are transferable to many colleges and universities, giving students a valuable head start toward earning a degree and reducing future college costs.
