The vision of Legacy is to educate and inspire gifted and talented students through their interest in careers in athletics while maintaining a focus on academic, social, and personal growth.
The mission is to provide a rigorous, well-balanced college preparatory program that focuses on educational experiences through the use of a thematic, work-based curriculum for academics, athletics, and professions within athletics.

Legacy positively impacted my life in so many ways. The trust of being a manager for the Men’s basketball team opened my eyes to a whole new career path. This opportunity even led to me continuing my journey as I am the manager for the Baylor Men’s Basketball team. This is one of many ways Legacy made a difference in my life.

Throughout my high school years, they provided not only academic guidance but also emotional and personal support that helped shape who I am today. Coming into my freshman year, I was uncertain about my future and unsure of what I wanted to pursue. However, after speaking with Mrs. Kerrie, who took the time to understand my interests and strengths, I felt a sense of direction. Her guidance helped me discover my passion and set meaningful goals. Legacy isn’t just a traditional school—it’s a place that truly invests in its students, offering personalized mentorship, real-world opportunities, and a strong sense of community. Legacy truly prepared me for college—if anything, it overprepared me. Even though the school has grown into something even greater, I was fortunate to get a real college feel during my time there. Legacy had a huge impact on my life. I always used to say that I wish I had started high school at Legacy the School of Sport Sciences, rather than finishing my high school career there. My high school GPA started at a 1.7 in 9th grade. My high school GPA all throughout my Senior year was a 3.6 because of Legacy's impact.

Legacy High School changed my life by helping me grow both on and off the field. It pushed me to become more disciplined, focused, and confident in myself. The coaches, teachers, and teammates believed in me, and that motivated me to chase my goals harder, especially my dream of playing soccer at the next level.
