A Partnership Between School, Students & Families
At Legacy the School of Sport Sciences, we believe educating a student is a partnership between the school, the student, and the family.
We are preparing our students for more than graduation. We are preparing them for college, careers, athletics, leadership, and life. That preparation requires all of us to model the professionalism, discipline, respect, and accountability we expect from our students.
When your family chooses Legacy, we ask you to partner with us in The LEGACY Way.
As a Legacy Parent/Guardian, I Commit To:
Preparing My Student for Success
I will ensure my student arrives on time, prepared to learn, and in the appropriate Legacy dress code each day. I understand that attendance, punctuality, and presentation are part of developing habits that will follow my student into college and the workplace.Modeling Professionalism on Campus
When visiting Legacy, I will dress appropriately for a school environment and conduct myself in a manner that models the expectations we have for our students.Communicating with Respect
I understand that disagreements and concerns may arise. I will communicate with Legacy faculty, staff, students, and other families professionally and respectfully, even when we may not agree.Protecting Our School Environment
I understand that Legacy is a school and a professional learning environment. Smoking, vaping, profanity, threatening behavior, fighting, or disruptive conduct are not appropriate on our campus.Trusting the Process
I understand that every decision may not be the decision I would personally make or immediately understand. However, I will begin from a place of trust and recognize that Legacy’s decisions are made with thought, planning, and consideration for our students and the school community. We don’t simply make decisions, we plan, evaluate, discuss, and consider the impact before moving forward. When I have questions, I will seek understanding through the appropriate channels before drawing conclusions.
Being a Partner
I understand that Legacy cannot do this work alone. I will support the school’s expectations, communicate when there is a concern, and work in partnership with Legacy to help my student succeed. Our Commitment to You
In return, Legacy commits to treating your family with the same professionalism, dignity, respect, and intentionalitywe ask of you.
We will communicate.
We will listen.
We will plan intentionally.
We will hold students accountable.
We will celebrate their successes.
We will learn from our challenges.
And above all, we will continue making decisions centered around what is best for our students. This is more than a school.
It is a partnership. It is a standard. It is The LEGACY Way.
Every Student Wins.
